This is a satellite image of Mount Everest and surrounding mountains of the himalayas, on the border of Nepal and China. You can see how the earth's crust has been pushed together, causing the vast mountain range
Interesting how rugged and barren the landscape is. Rocks, snow, and ice. Too cold for most vegetation to grow. It is a hostile environment for all living things!
