This image of Augusta National Golf Club displays the outline and contours of the course. It can also help track weather patters in the area, as well as the size of land that the club is taking up. Most satallite images are used to track major weather desasters such as hurricans and snow storms. They also aid in identifying land elevations.

  1. Interesting pic. The land outside the golf course looks quite dry emphasizing the heavy irrigation needs of a golf course. Golf courses have a recognizable pattern when viewed from above. The fairways are clearly visible outlined with darker trees and bunkers, water and greens are also visible by color.
The Masters is one of my favorite Majors in golf.
