Batholith
The batholith is a massive underground magma chamber. It generally leads to laccolith chambers or sills and dikes. They pose no real threat to people.
Good illustartion of a batholith. All intrusive rocks are called plutonic rocks. The heat can some result in precious or semi-precious metals in the area.
