Mt.Pinatubo Caldera
Mt. Pinatubo's caldera in 1991 was created by the process of the land collapsing from underneath, creating the massive hole as shown in the image.
The collapse happened after it's volcanic eruption.
This mountain in the Phillipenes affects human life by endangering people who live at the base of the mountain. Due to their need of using the volcanic soil, 847 people have died from Mt. Pinatubo's eruptions.

Wow, that is a massive caldera. The eruption which caused it must have been enormous.
