European Rabbit in Australia

This is a picture of a European rabbit in Australia. It was introduced from Europe in the 19th century. They are considered to be the most significant known factor to species loss in Australia due to the loss of trees and plants caused by them. They are also contributed to serious erosion, since they eat away native plants on the top soil, weakening the layer and allowing other erosion such as wind.
