YAYAAA DIKES
A dike is an intrusive volcanic feature that is made by hot magma coming up to the surface cutting through the layers of rock. As it comes to the surface from a batholith the magma creates sills horizontally in the rock. Once the magma has made it to the surface through the dike it becomes lava.
