This is an image of a stalactite. A stalactite is an underground river feature that forms in caves over millions of years. It is formed by limestone dissolving over time and and flowing downwards as the water drips past it. Generally a stalactite has little affect on people, unless it falls on an unfortuante victim during an earthquake, or just simply captures your interest.
