V-Shaped Valleys are caused by vertical river erosion. The sediment carried in the river thrusts against the rivers bends, eventually carving out and falling down, while the earth's crust rises, creating a V-Shaped Valley.
We see these valleys occur in the youngest stage of a rivers 'life'.
