Tundra Biome

This is an image of Tundra in Alaska, where there is no tree growth. This is due to low temperatures and short growing seasons. In some places, there is also permafrost, where the soil is permanently frozen. Trees have adapted to this climate by simply not growing at all.

The polar bear has adapted to this climate by having fur skin that adapts to cold temperatures. They also have evolved to move across open-water, ice, and snow.
