The image to your left is an image of a diagram representing how acid rain is formed. Acidic gases rise up from inducstrial processes such as smelting, factories, cars ect. The sulphur dioxide and the nitrous oxide is carried by the wind and the gases dissolve into rain water to form acid rain or ''acid deposition''. This image outlines one of the causes: ''industrial processes" and it effects.
